A record setting day - more than $270,000 raised!

 Thanks to our 1200 participants and their generous donors, we have exceeded our goal of raising $200,000 for Special Olympics Chicago programs enjoyed throughout the year by 5,000 athletes.  Tax deductible online donations can be submitted for weeks to come by clicking the above link to or by mailing checks to:  Special Children's Charities at 541 N. Fairbanks Court, Chicago, Illinois 60611.

Prizes will be awarded on April 1 to our 3 top fundraisers and the team raising the most funds.  Fleece vests will be mailed to individuals raising a minimum of $500. 

Thank you once again for the difference that your involvement makes to the lives of our special athletes!  A special thanks to our many volunteers, sponsors, the Chicago Park District and the City of Chicago.  Your time and energy is very much appreciated and valued.  We look forward to seeing you next year at the 9th Annual Chicago Polar Plunge which will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2009!
